McDONALD - Marshall Bruce McDonald, a resident of Eugene for the last 31 years, passed away at his home, 3720 Willamette St., on April 20, 1953. He was born in Texas on February 18, 1878, and was united in marriage to Annie Ralph at Somerville, Texas on November 22, 1903. The deceased was a retired employee of the S.P. Co., having served as a car inspector. Besides his wife, he is survived by 4 children: Melba Jones of Eugene; Mary Ann Schaefers of Portland, Oregon; Dorothy Stewart of Cottage Grove, and Edith Buffinger of Beverly Hills, California; 7 grandchildren, also 1 brother and 2 sisters, all living in Texas. Private funeral services will be held at the Poole-Larsen Chapel Wednesday, April 22, 1953. The Rev. Paul Mellish will officiate. Cremation will follow. The family has requested that flowers please be omitted. ~~END~~
