Jennifer L. Thornton, 64, of North Fond du Lac, died Feb 13, 2011, at her home.
She was born July 13, 1946, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Warren Clark and Alma E. Beaster Woodruff.
Jennifer graduated from Horace Mann High School, North Fond du Lac, class of 1964.
On June 3, 1967, she married Richard L. Thornton at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, North Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 1995.
Jennifer worked for the North Fond du Lac School District as a secretary at Friendship Learning Center for 26 years.
She enjoyed biking, gardening, watching old movies, reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by one daughter, Leann (fiancé, Curtis DeRemer) Thornton, Waupun; one son, John (Janelle) Thornton, Van Dyne; two grandchildren, Natalie and Daphne Thornton; her mother, Alma Woodruff, Fond du Lac; five siblings, Carol (Ed) Steinbarth, Fond du Lac, Wendy (Stuart) MacPherson, Pickerel, Nancy (Jim) Kuitert, Fond du Lac, James (Lynn) Woodruff, Fond du Lac, and Rich (Theresa) Woodruff, Fond du Lac; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and her husband.
