Mr. Bartow Presson (actually Bartley,) who was wounded in an attempt to capture a man who had attempted a criminal assault upon a lady near Clayton, Ga, a report of which was given in this paper last week, died in a hospital in Savannah Wednesday morning. Mr. Presson was a son of Mr. William Presson of south Monroe township. He was about twenty-five years old. A wife and child survive him.
