Mrs. Helen B. Landing, 75, of Cedar Lane, near Fruitland, died Thursday in Peninsula General Hospital after a long illness.
Surviving are her husband, Clarence V. Landing; a son and three daughters, James B. Landing, Mrs. Francis Fleming, Mrs. Eugene Robinson and Miss Frances Landing, all of Fruitland; four grandsons; a brother, Russell Basford, Dunn, N.C.; and four sisters, Mrs. Walton Biggs, Rocky Mount, N.C., Mrs. Iva Aldrich, Baltimore, Mrs. Ruth Deitz, Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Naomi Kunselman, Fayetteville, N.C.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Holloway Funeral Home. The Rev. C. Edwin Lasbury, pastor of St. John's Methodist Church, Fruitland, will officiate. Interment will be in Parsons Cemetery.
