Charles David Golden, 84, of Pensacola passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011. He was a native of Flomaton, Alabama, and resided for most of his life in Pensacola. Charles was a WW II veteran in the US Navy and retired from Monsanto after 25 years of service.
Charles was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #557, NW FL Moose Legion # 182 and had attained status of Pilgrim Degree.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Helen G. Golden.

He is survived by daughter Helen ‘Kay' Thomas ( Scott ) ; granddaughter Stephanie Forester and great-grandson Ian Forester all of Pensacola; sisters Katie Walsh of Plymouth, MA, Wesley Winters of Pensacola and Alameta ‘ Sis " McGowin of Brewton, AL; Aunt Willie Smith of Flomaton, AL and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral Services will be at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor A.D. Hale. Visitation for friends and family will be prior to the service from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

Serving as pallbearers will be nephews and a brother-in-law.
