Daughter of Lane County settlers George Washington Bond & Elizabeth (Stillwell) Bond. She married Anderson Jackson Harlow on 14 Dec 1873. His parents were fellow Lane County pioneers Mahlon Hall Harlow & Frances Burris (Tandy) Harlow, who were founders of the Eugene Baptist Church. They were contemporaries of fellow pioneer Rev. Jacob Gillespie.

Anderson Jackson Harlow & Amanada J. (Harlow) Bond had two children: Minnie L. and Frank B. Harlow. Frank married Laura "Gertrude" Stevens, granddaughter of Coburg, Oregon area pioneers William Henry Stevens & Hester "Hixey" V. (Jones) Stevens.

HARLOW - At the family home four miles north of Eugene, Feb. 10, 1914, at 11 p.m., Mrs. Amanda J., wife of A.J. Harlow.

The funeral will be held Feb. 12, at 1 p.m. from the residence to the Gillespie cemetery. ~~~
