South Windsor - Jeannette M. Agard, 90, formerly of Judy Ln. died early Monday morning at Villa Maria in Plainfield. She was born August 2, 1920 in Canada a daughter of the late Roderick and Rose Alma (Bessette) St. Marie.
Mrs. Agard had resided in South Windsor for 50 years, moving to Plainfield in 2007. She had been employed by Connecticut Mutual Insurance Co for many years. Mrs. Agard was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in South Windsor. She was the beloved wife of Raymond N. Agard who died May 4, 2007.
Survivors include a brother Henry St. Marie of Richford, VT; three sisters Claire Mason of Plainfield, Yvonne Rawls of Whately, MA. Lucille Foran of New Bern, NC; also, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Lawrence St. Marie and two sisters Agnes and Florence St. Marie. A calling hour will be held Friday from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. at Dougherty Bros. Funeral Home 595 Norwich Rd. Plainfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. in St. John the Apostle Church, Plainfield. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 P.M. in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. In Lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Recreation Dept. at Villa Maria, 20 Babcock Ave. Plainfield, CT. 06374.
