Minshall D. Painter, 83, of Fremont, died at 6 p.m. Monday at the Elmhurst hospital. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Riede, Angola and Mrs. Alice Deemer, Fremont; one son, Robert Painter, Fremont; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Beams Funeral Home in Fremont with burial in the Fremont cemetery.
