Chante Latrice Davis, 26, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at her residence.

She was born January 16, 1985, in Charlottesville, the daughter of the late Roger Eugene Carey and Karen Lee Davis Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, James Clark Jackson.

She is survived by one son, Jayden Eugene Henderson of Madison; three brothers, Roderick Eugene Davis of Richmond, Randolph Eugene Davis of Orange, and Eric Eugene Fitzgerald of Buckingham; two sisters, Candace Liane Davis of Petersburg and Hope Elizabeth Davis of Orange; grandmother, Lucile Carey of Barboursville; and grandfather, Clarence Wood of Barboursville.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 19, 2011, at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Gordonsville, conducted by the Reverend Robert Anthony. Burial was held in the White-Davis Family Cemetery on Gilbert Station Road in Albemarle County.
