Zeta Pollock Christensen was born in Memphis, Missouri on October 13, 1889, to Elmer G. and Emily A. Summers. She was one of 12 children.

In 1903 at the age of 13 she moved with her family from Memphis to Holyoke and settled on a farm that was the Harold Heimer home. Zeta attended country school and graduated at the age of 18 and taught one term at a school 10 miles north of Holyoke at the age of 20.

She was united in marriage to Frank Pollock in 1910, to this union three sons and one daughter were born; Albert, Edith Mae, Lee and Forrest.

Zeta was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Frank, two sisters and a son Lee Pollock.

Zeta is survived by two sons Albert Pollock, and Forrest Pollock, one daughter Edith Mae Stenson, two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and a host of other relatives and friends.

Zeta was baptized at the age of 11 in the Methodist Church, she was a member of the Navy mothers and the Royal Neighbors for many years.

Zeta passed away Sunday, December 9, 1990 at the Prairie Vista Care Center at the age of 101 years.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 13, 1990 at the First Christian Church in Holyoke with burial following in the Holyoke Memorial Park.
