William L. Price graduated from recruit training Dec. 17 at the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill. The graduation exercises marked the end of nine weeks of "boot camp" , included a full dress parade and review before dignitaries.
In nine weeks of instruction, the "raw recruit" is developed into a Navy Bluejacket, ready for duty with the fleet.

He married Juanita Johnson.
1964 joined the Sanford Fire Dept. where he served as a Lieutenant. He was killed in the line of duty.
