Obituary (submitted by family)
Josephine Isabelle (Morris) Fields, 79 entered into Paradise Monday, May 12, 2003.
Josephine was born in Marshfield, MO, June 18, 1923 to Homer and Rockey Morris. She was retired after many years as a bookkeeper and was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church where she enjoyed a host of friends and family, working with children and singing in the choir.

She leaves behind two sons, Tom Fields, Firestone, CO, and Ron Fields, St. Louis, MO; two daughters, Carolyn "Susie" Harp, Rockford, IL, and Joann Watson, Imperial, MO; one brother, Eugene Morris, Springfield, MO; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. With grateful hearts we shall all remember her.

(The poem below was also in her mother's obituary)
Her sun went down in the morning, While all was fair and bright, But 'twas not an eclipse of darkness, that hid her from our sight.
For the valley of death was brighter, Than the hills of life she trod, And the peace that fell on here spirit, was the calm, deep peach of God.
She knew in whom she trusted, She counted all the things loss, And clung with the arms of faith and love, to the Christ and to His cross.
Her sun went down with the morning, While all was fair and bright; But it shines today on the far away hills, in the land that knows no night. -author unknown
