Mrs. Elizabeth J. (Chrissman) Ames-Johnson, born June 14, 1876, in Jacksonville, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in her home, 104 West Chestnut street. She formerly resided in Loyalhanna township, Westmoreland County and Saltsburg and vicinity and the past year in Blairsville. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Tunnelton Presbyterian Church.
The deceased was twice married, first to Arth Amer Ames, who passed away in 1928, and later to William Johnson, who also is decease.
Surviving are two sons: William B. Ames of California, PA., and Arth Amer Ames of Bentleyville, PA.; three daughters: Mrs. Edna Stine of New Alexandria; Mrs. Loretta Peace of Saltsburg, R. D., and Mrs. Florence Moore of Tunnelton; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today in Robinston Funeral Home, Saltsburg, where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday . The Rev. A. H. Gettman will officiate and interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery, Washington County.
