Richard "Dick" A. Williams 89, of New Carlisle, Ohio died at 6:40 a.m. Friday, April 17, 1998 at Mercy Medical Center, Springfield, Ohio. He was born January 5, 1909 in New Carlisle, the son of Charles E. and Nora (Aston) Williams. He was a member of the Lake Avenue Christian Church and had retired after 30 years as a meteorologist with the United States Weather Bureau in Vandalia. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and five sisters. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Alma Williams, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being served by the TROSEL, CHAPMAN & CHRISTMAS FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.
