Edith E. Morris Halstead, 91, of Marmet went home to be with the Lord Feb. 3, 2004. Born May 19, 1912, she was preceded in death by her parents, Arch and Alsona Morris of Swiss; and her husband, Searl V. Halstead. She was a former employee of Marmet Crippled Children's Hospital and retired from CAMC General Hospital. She was a member of Living Faith Christian Church, Marmet, and had been a Christian since she was a teenager. Surviving are sons, James E. Halstead Sr. and wife, Billie J. Cravens Halstead, and Robert S. Halstead I and wife, Shirley J. McCormack Halstead, all of Marmet; daughters, Alma L. Halstead Holladay and husband, Samuel J., of Pompano Beach, Fla., Shirley A. Halstead Clark and husband, Emil L., of Marmet; grandchildren, James E. Halstead Jr., Michael Dowdy, Randy Clark, Tammy Kersey, Robert Halstead II, Emil Alan Clark, Eric Alan Halstead, Jane Ann Hyler and Patti Ann Runion; special caregivers, granddaughter, Roxanna Halstead Williams, and grandson, Paul Douglas Williams; 15 great-grandchildren, Audra, Michael, Paul, Jenny, David, Rebecca, Ashley, Jesse, Josh, Zane, Sami, Morgan, Chaz, Davy and Lora; and nine great-grandchildren, Megan, Amanda, Brooke, Amber, Anthony, Isiah, Caleb, Brianna and Kaiden.
