Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Feb. 15, 2011 at Riverside Cemetery, Payette. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.
Lenora was born July 11, 1911 in Halfway, OR, to Fred and Ora Gerberding. She was the youngest of four children.
Lenora was married to Earl Walker of New Plymouth, ID on Sept. 17, 1936. They had lived in Weiser and Fruitland for most of their life. Lenora and Earl took up golf in the 1950's, they enjoyed playing for several years and then later she played bridge with several groups of ladies.
Lenora was also a long time member of the Rebekah Lodge in Weiser and a member of Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her daughter, Earlene Walston, of Fruitland; son, Bill (Sharon) Walker, of Boise; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, and her husband, Earl Walker.
She had been living at Meadowbrook Assisted Living in Ontario for the past 10 years. The family wishes to thank Meadowbrook for their years of care and also to Pathway Hospice and to Payette Care Center for her care in the last few days of her life.
