-----Mrs. A. M. Jones died at the residence of her son Frank yesterday morning, from the effects of cancer. She had been afflicted for some time and only awaited the inevitable results which she well knew must soon come to relieve her of all earthly suffering. Mrs. Jones was born April 8, 1833, near Greenfield, Mass. She was the mother of four children, Frank and Lizzie who reside here, in Cherokee, and Manfred and Charles, now resedents of Colorado. Mr. Wm. Canedy, brother of the deceased is expected to arrive from Chicago and be present at the funeral services which will be conducted at the house by Rev. R. H. Dolliver, tomorrow at 2 o'clock.
