Sarah Ellen then took the name of her step father, Bolin. She had a half brother, Henry Lewis Bolin. Sarah Ellen Smith Bolin wed John C. Caire' on September 26, 1895 in Newton County Arkansas by G.W. Newberry. To this union was born five daughters, Luella "Lue", Bertha "Bertie", Jenette Mae "Nettie", Mittie & Velma Caire'. When their father passed from this life here on earth, that was the end of the Caire' name. Our Mama, told us this and she always said that it was so sad that the Caire' name was lost! And it was. John C. & Sarah Ellen (Smith Bolin) Caire' is my Great grandparents.
