Elkville Boys Dies of Brain Tumor
8 year old Hal Burton Messer,son of Mr and Mrs Emery Messer,Elkville,
died at 5 p.m. Friday at his home of a brain tumor.He had been ill about one
year.
The youth was a member of the First Apostic Church,Carbondale.He was born
in Elkville Jan 21 1957
He leaves in addition to his parents,four sisters,Mrs Georgia Williams,Carbondale,
Mrs Faye Johnson,Hurst,Mrs Gale Cavaness,Elkville,and Gracie Messer,Elkville.
four brothers,Emery.Terry,Allen,Rickie,Elkville;and his grandparents Mr and Mrs
Harvey Messer,Elkivlle.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in Van Natta Funeral Home
Carbondale with Rev.Roy Simpkins officiating
Burial will be in Murdale Gardens of Memories,near Carbondale
