Sarah Leet, a resident of Bingen for 50 years, passed away at Jallo's Nursing Home in Portland, Oregon on April 9. She was born on August 23, 1880 at Tynset Norway, Osterdalen Province. She was married to Richard Leet and was a homemaker all her life. Survivors include: two sisters and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Gardner's Funeral Home on Saturday, April 12, and a private ceremony was held at Idlewild Cemetery at Hood River. Officiating was Rev. Ted H. Culbertson of the Assembly of God Church in Bingen.
