Laura Ann Worth of Farmington passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at the age of 78.

She was born on January 4, 1933, at Glover, Missouri, the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Mary E. (Forsythe) Wilson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Worth in 1964, two brothers, Joseph and Frank Wilson, and two sisters, Mary Wilson, and Lois Hibler.

A lifelong resident of the State of Missouri, Laura retired from MoDot in 1991 after many years there.

In her retirement, she enjoyed painting, gardening, making ceramics, and spending time with her family.

Laura is survived by her children, Melanie Gay Clark, Steven Kevin Worth, Jeannette Ellen Garcia, Karen Ann Branch, and Fred Lee Worth; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Propst, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, February 14.

Visitation will resume on Tuesday from 7 am until the funeral service beginning at 10 am in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Carl Cureton officiating.

Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.

Memorials may be made to the Gateway Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America.
