Joseph Jeffery Arnold was born November 25, 1962. He departed this life on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Mobile Infirmary surrounded by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Jones, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Arnold, Sr., paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. James Jones, Sr., three uncles, Lewis J. Young, Eddie Arnold, Jr., and Robert L. Stevenson. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Mrs. Mary V. Griffith; two daughters, Shacobi Elise King, Jacqueline Jacquise King; three sons, Jerkori Marquis Booze, Jarrett Joseph Dixon, Jadarius W. Myles, all of Mobile, AL; one granddaughter, Hannah Alise King; two brothers, Christopher Rodrick Arnold of Mobile, AL and Chad Winston Griffith of Montgomery, AL; six aunts, Mrs. Sandra E. Stevenson of Linden, NJ, Mrs. Regina (Wilbert) DeShields, Pascagoula, MS, Mrs. Catherine Dailey Cudhay, WI, Mrs. Edwina (Leon) Loftin, Mrs. Katrina A. White, Mrs. Yolanda (George) Preston, all of Mobile, AL; two uncles, Mr. John H. (Glenda) Arnold, Milwaukee, WI and Mr. Larry Byrd, Mobile, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special and lifelong friends are Michael Jackson, John Lucas, Kary Lucas, Sherman Davis and Rick Hobson. His remains will lie in state on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Small's Mortuary, 950 South Broad Street, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at Mt. Olive #1 Missionary Baptist, 409 Lexington Avenue, Mobile, AL, Rev. Ernest G.
