Mr. Harmon was born June 2, 1942, in Olney, the son of Pearl and Violet (Dunlap) Harmon. He married Kathleen Pittman in 1971.
He was a retired employee of Prairie Farms in Olney with 20 years of service; member of American Legion Post 30 and Masonic Lodge 140, both of Olney, and Shriners Ainad Temple, East St. Louis; and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife; mother of Calhoun; four stepchildren; brothers, Robert of Calhoun, Raymond of Olney; sisters, Juanita Runyon and Linda Jackson, both of Olney, Ruby Haws of Calhoun, Anneda Govers, Rosemary Bass of Albion; two grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and one great-stepgrandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, one brother and one sister.
