Lisbon - John H. Cannon, farmer and lifelong resident of Elkrun township, died of a heart attack while working about the farm Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. He was 68. Mr. Cannon was born Nov. 3, 1873, on the farm where he died, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew cannon. He was a member of the Madison Presbyterian church.
In 1901, he was married to Eva Custer, who survives, as do a brother, Emmet Cannon of Lisbon; a sister, Mrs. Alice Todd of Orlando, Fla., and three grand-children
Funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 from the home by V. A. Schreiber, lay pastor of the Madison church. Interment will be in Lisbon cemetery. The body was removed to the Warrick funeral home at Columbiana and will be returned to the late home Thursday afternoon where friends may call anytime.
