She married Garrett B. Bishop of Asheville, and they had six children of which only two grew to be adults, Barbara Lynn & Garrett Bynum II, she had two sets of twins, the first being stillborn and the second set (Debby and Dottie) died shortly after being born and are buried in the cemetery near her mother and father.
She wrote several pieces of poetry, and work for the Bell South phone company until she retired.
She died in June of 2005 at the Baptist Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina, and we laid her to rest in the masoleum at Lewis Memorial Cemetery.
Those knew her no matter what their feelings, miss her dearly, especially her children and grandchildren, we miss you grandma.
