Born in Widner Township, he was a lifelong farmer and resided on a Hoosier Homestead farm, one which had been in his family at lease a century. He was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ and attended Mariah Creek Christian Church, was a life member of the Bicknell Elks Lodge, board member of Widner Muytual Insurance Co & Bruceville Rod & Gun Club. He was an avid racing fan and basketball enthusiast and was active in the annual Freelandville Community Sale and Bicknell French Club.
Survivors are his wife; 2 sons, Wayne Albrecht, Ft Branch and Bill Albrecht and 4 granchildren.
