Emma Charlotte Figart, wife of John H. Figart, died at the Altoona hospital dispensary at 9:30 o'clock Saturday evening after suffering a heart attack downtown. She was immediately rushed to the hospital where death occurred before she was admitted. She suffered from a heart condition for the past several years. She was born in Riggle's Gap, April 11, 1867 and was a member of the Mennonite Church. Surviving are her husband and the following children, Nathaniel, Pittsburgh; Samuel, Charles, John and Mrs. Mary Lafferty, all of this city. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, John Collier, Mrs. Anna Colbert and Marion Collier, all of Altoona and nine grandchildren. She formerly resided in Coburn.
The funeral cortege will leave the home at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon for services at her church at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery.
