Jane Louise Ackerman Johnson , 66, wife of Ancil Johnson of Page Road, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2000, at home after an illness.
She was born in North Charleston, a daughter of the late Robert E. Ackerman Sr. and Frances Cumbee Ackerman. She was a member of Happy Home Baptist Church and was retired from Anderson Brothers Bank. She was a former employee of Aynor Manufacturing Co.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Ancil Mack Johnson and his wife, Karin, of Galivants Ferry, and Robert Johnson and his wife, Connie, of Aynor; two brothers, Robert E. Ackerman Jr. of Summerville and Daniel Ackerman of North Charleston; two sisters, Edna Barrineau of Corbin, Ky., and Lorraine O'Brien of North Charleston; and three grandchildren, Taylor Mack Johnson , Hunter Johnson and Heather Johnson .
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Happy Home Baptist Church. The Revs. Larry Johnson and J.K. Barrineau will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
