The Rev. Albert E. WORL, 83, former Kewanna resident, died at 4 a.m. Saturday at the Christian Home in Appalachian Christian Village, Johnson City, Tenn.
A retired Christian church minister and rural mail carrier, the Rev. Worl was born June 1, 1888, near New Castle. His first marriage was to Orpha J. WILSON who preceded him in death in 1967. His second marriage was to Bertha GRAHAM who survives. He had served as minister to churches in Royal Center, Spring Creek and Plymouth.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Violet OVERMYER, Kewanna; two sons, Robert R. WORL, Indianapolis, and Ralph R. WORL, Dallas, Tex.; three step-sons; two step-daughters; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bessie CROSS, New Castle. Two sons and one daughter preceded in death.
Graveside rites will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Pleasant Hill cemetery north of Kewanna. The Rev. Ron PRILLIMAN will officiate. Friends may call at the Harrison Garden chapel in Kewanna from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
