Mr. Caldwell
Mr. Harvey Eugene Caldwell, 78, of Route 1, Zebulon, died January 23 at Upson County Hospital in Thomaston. Mr. Caldwell was a native of Meriwether County. He was a retired painter, and had lived in Pike County most of his life. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucy Caldwell of Zebulon; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Hill of Fayetteville; three sons, Mr. Herman Eugene Caldwell of Senoia, Mr. Franklin Caldwell of Brooks, and Mr. Bobby Lee Caldwell of Barnesville; a sister, Mrs. H.V. Watts of Thomaston; and five brothers, Mr. Theo Caldwell of Macon, Mr. John M. Caldwell of Thomaston, Mr. Douglas Caldwell of Barnesville, Mr. David Caldwell of Marietta, and Mr. Lanier Caldwell of Port Arthur Tex.; nine grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Caldwell were conducted Wednesday, January 25, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Moody Funeral Home in Zebulon, with the Rev. Bob McCombs officiating. Interment followed in old Hebron Cemetery in Concord. Moody Funeral Home of Zebulon was in charge of arrangements.
