OBITUARY

HENRY DAVIS REID SR.

Henry Davis Reid Sr., 75, of Tuckerman, died Saturday. He is survived by his wife, Ida Mae Reid, of Tuckerman; two sons, Henry D. Reid, Jr. of Beedeville and Ray Reid of Tuckerman; four daughters, Allene Koettel of Searcy, Wanda Simmons of Searcy, Bonita Carlton of Beedeville and Jonita Darling of Tuckerman; two brothers, T.C. Reid, Jr. of Little Rock and Gene Reid of Ozark; five sisters, Jesse Rankin of McCrory, Hazel Madison of McCrory, Lilly Little of Beedeville, Ruby Slokum of Tuckerman and Vivian French of Newport; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services were held yesterday at the Jackson Newport Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Eight Mile Cemetery in Beedeville.


Henry was married May 12, 1926 in Lonoke county, Arkansas to Ida Mae Melton.
