BURGIN, BARBARA JUNE MCMILLAN - age 80 of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at NHC Fort Sanders. Mrs. Burgin was a member of Black Oak Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Gene Burgin; son, Rick Burgin; sisters, Rhoda and Pat; brothers, Dick and Steve; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Rose Mortuary with Reverend Jack Parrott officiating. Interment will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the mortuary.
