The funeral of Mrs. Mary E. Baldwin, wife of Rev. W. F. Wakefield of Port Chester, N. Y.. was held at the home of her sister, Mrs. Henry H. Fell, 111 Sherman street, at 3 o'clock this afternoon. The house was filled with relatives and friends. Rev. A. A. Nellis conducted the service. The bearers were C. F. Baldwin, a brother, Dr. G. B. Mack, Henry H. Fell, a brother-in-law, George B. Crawfoot, F. P. Fell and B. B. Cogswell. The remains were buried in the family plot in Fort Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Wakefield was born in the town of Venice in 1856 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William N. Baldwin. She attended the high school in this city after completing her preliminary work in Venice.

On July 18, 1876, she was married to W. F. Wakefield. Two children were the result of the union, F. N. Wakefield, who was graduated from Yale in 1006, was later a student at Harvard Law school and who died in October 1908, and one daughter, Inez, who survives.

Mrs. Wakefield was 52 years of age, and her death occurred on Friday, June 25. She was a sister of Mrs. Henry H. Fell, Mrs. George B. Crawfoot and C. F. Baldwin, all of Auburn.
