THOMPSON Camille Vautier Thompson, born on February 15, 1912, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerard Thompson; her parents: Anna (Krutzer) and Emile Vautier; and a sister, Estelle V. Francke. She is survived by four nephews: George G. Francke, Jr., Robert E. Francke, Sr. (Gayle), Stewart Brown (Kathy), Charles Brown (Alayna); one niece, Margaret Brown Gilmore (Allen); and many great-nieces and nephews. Camille lived a long and happy life. She loved God, her family, her many friends and her church. She was kind and caring to everyone she met and will be greatly missed. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1:00 PM in First Lutheran Church, 301 W. Farrel Rd. in Lafayette. Reverend Kenneth Burke, Pastor, will conduct the memorial service. Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Lutheran Church, 301 W.
