Mr. Phillips passed away on Jan. 15, 2011 at Baptist South Hospital. He was born in Tallapoosa County on Sept. 2, 1985 to Roger Dale Phillips and Barbara Stockdale. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish, enjoyed life, was good hearted and very giving and was a big prankster. He was voted best smile in the 12th grade.
Mr. Phillips is survived by his father, Roger Dale Phillips of Alex City, mother, Barbara Willoughby and husband, Adrain of Alex City; 4 brothers, Michael McClure and wife, Tiffany, and Chance Dye, all of Tuscaloosa, Allen and Brent Willoughby, both of Alex City; grandparents, Marjorie Hall of Alex City, Byron Stockdale, Sr. of Equality, and step grandmother, Mary Willoughby of Daviston; nieces and nephews, Andrew and Melissa McClure and Logan Dye, all of Tuscaloosa and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
