Volney T. Mosher, 88, died Wednesday at noon, at the home of his son, Dwight Mosher of Oak Hill Road, Town of Moravia, after being ill two years. With the exception of 20 years, during which he resided in Hillsdale, Michigan, Mr. Mosher spent his life in Scipio and Moravia.
Mr. Mosher is survived by two sons, Dwight Mosher of Moravia and Clinton Mosher of Sherwood; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Friday afternoon at the home of Dwight Mosher, with George Tyler, lay reader of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, of Scipio. Burial will be in Ft. Hill Cemetery, Auburn.
