Ruth A. Lucas, 79, of Earls Court, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at 3:15 a.m. at Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Ruth was a former care giver, a former proof reader for an ad agency in Chicago and a former member of Order of the Eastern Star where she served as chaplain. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles and watching the news.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Ron Voss officiating. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service today. Cremation will follow the service.

Born in Greensburg February 13, 1931, Ruth was the daughter of Edward and Edna Sherwood Foreman. She married Eugene O. Lucas June 13, 1953. He preceded her in death in 1983.
Survivors include her daughter, Anita K. Dibble of Columbus; sisters, Ruby (Floyd) Hamer and Gertrude Davis, both of Greensburg; a brother, Gilbert (Bertha) Foreman of Falmouth; grandchildren, Kelli Dibble of Muncie and Ryan Dibble of Columbus; several nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Norm Keefer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Jeffrey B. Lucas, and sisters, Marianna Mozingo and Marjorie Huesman.
∼Daughter of Edward Edna (Sherwood) Foreman.
