Edith Mae Lewelling was born June 21, 1909, near Delia, Kans. She was educated at High Prairie District school, Delia High School, and Kansas State Normal College, Emporia. She taught school two years before her marriage on June 25, 1932, to Wayne E. Mase, of Delphos, Kans. He was born at Delphos Feb. 4, 1911, son of Frank J. and Edith Lewise Mase. He was graduated from Kansas State Normal and has been a High School Teacher and Principal at Bennington and St. John, Kans. He is now Superintendent of Schools at St. John. She does part time teaching in the High School there. They have two children.
