He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Joyce Combs, of the home in Portageville, Missouri; daughters and sons-in-laws, Felicia and Dennis Clause of Crestwood, Kentucky, Joy and Mark Taylor of Kirksville, Missouri, Danielle Combs and Tony Bock of Millersville, Misssouri; his brothers, Steve Combs of Oak Forest, Illinois, Isaac Combs of Portageville, Missouri; sisters, Mary Galreau of Detroit, Michigan, Josephine King of Cherry, Illinois, Pearlie White of Lebanon, Missouri, Shirley Thurman of Peru, Illinois, Pat Camper of Buffalo, Missouri, Wilma Kincade of Republic, Missouri, Leona Low and Elaine Brown of Urbana, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jonathan Clause, Madison Taylor, Tyler and Trevor Bock and a host of many other relatives and friends.
Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011, under the direction of DeLisle Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tommy Cheshire officiating. Interment was at Portageville Cemetery, Portageville, Missouri.
