MR. AND MRS. JERRE C. COCHRAN

DELPHOS - The funeral for Jerre C. Cochran, 82, and his wife, Zella, 81, Delphos, will be at 2 pm Monday at the United Methodist Church, Delphos, the Rev. Eugene Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the city cemetery.

The Cochrans were killed Thursday when their car and another one collided head-on on K-41 highway one mile east of Delphos. Mrs. Cochran died later Thursday at St. John's hospital at Salina. Mr. Cochran was dead at the scene.

Mr. Cochran was born May 23, 1892, at Windom. He and his wife had lived in Delphos for several years. He was a retired patrol operator for the Ottawa County highway department and was a veteran of World War 1. He was a member of the Oddfellows Lodge and the American Legion.

Mrs. Cochran was born Aug. 1, 1893, in Norton County. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Delphos.
The Cochrans are survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Hazel Ranney, Delphos, and Mrs. Norma Balun, Mentor and 5 grandchildren.
Mr. Cochran also is survived by 2 brothers, Earl, Adams, Neb. and Albert, Alameda, Calif.

The family suggests memorials to the United Methodist Church. The Haley funeral home, Minneapolis, is in charge of arrangements.
