VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Mr. Brandon Scott Richard, 31, will be held 1PM March 27, 2010 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Grand Prairie with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Father Mark Melancon will officiate. Mr. Richard a resident of Plaisance and Veteran of the Iraq War with the LA National Guard, recipient of the Purple Heart passed away March 24, 2010.
He will be very sadly missed by his mother and stepfather Phyllis and Mitch Lafleur of Plaisance; father Tommy Joe Richard of Ville Platte; daughter Taylor Anne Reed of Lafayette; brother Robby Lafleur of Lafayette; sister Hannah Lafleur of Plaisance; paternal grandparents A.B and Jeanette Richard; maternal grandfather Jimmy Fontenot of Plaisance; maternal grandmother Pearl Bertrand of Plaisance;
Visitation will be held March 26, 2010 from 10AM-10PM with a rosary being recited at 6PM, and will resume again March 27, 2010 from 8AM until the time of services.
