Mrs. Rumfield passed away at a Bryan clinic at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday following an illness of two weeks. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Moore of Edge, was born in Brazos County May 30, 1917, and was 24 years of age at the time of her death.
She is survived by her husband, Ira J. Rumfield; one daughter, Helen Carolyn; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Moore of Edge; one brother, Floyd Moore, of Bryan; and three sisters, Mrs. Roy Lewis of Normangee, Mrs. W.M. Rosier of Houston, and Mrs. C.M. Payne of Edge.
The funeral procession left the McCullough funeral home at 3:30 p.m. today, and included a large number of friends from Bryan, College, and Edge, who attended the services at Edge.
Pallbearers were Roy Lewis, W.M. Rosier, C.M. Payne, Homer Barnett, Joe Jeff Danforth, and Jim L. Leighman.
