Active member of the LDS Church, holding several callings in the Primary and Relief Society over the years. She worked as a fire lookout at the Big Springs fire tower on Kaibab Mountain for 51 years.
Survivors include children Ross (Debra)Rogers, Katherine Morrison, Dwayne (Neli)Rogers, Rex Rogers, Dwight (Serina)Rogers, Leona Higbee Rinehart and Richard Rogers; brother Paul (Sherry)Heaton, 30 grandchildren, 45 great grand children and 1 great great granddaughter who is due in March.
She was preceded in death by a stillborn son Henry A.Rogers, husband Royce Rogers, brothers LaMont "Pete" Heaton and Gradon Heaton, sisters Beth Sorensen and Bernice Heaton.
Services held Sat Feb 12, 2011 in the Moccasin LDS Church. Arrangements made with Mosdell Mortuary of Kanab, UT
