He was born March 8, 1941 in Indianapolis to the late Herbert Fairchild and Roxie Robinson.
Chuck worked for Western Southern Life for 30 years. After retiring in 1996, he started WebFair with Bill Weber. He officially retired in 2007.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Fairchild; sons, Charles "Chuck" (Luanne) Fairchild II of Indianapolis, and Marc (Stephanie) Fairchild of Indianapolis; step-son, Steven (Mary) Couch of Columbus; grandchildren, Charles "Chase" III, Zachary, Nicholas, Ethan, and Grace Ann Fairchild; brother, Herbert "Fred" (Darlene) Fairchild II of Indianapolis; brother-in-law, David (Melissa) Benedict of Greenwood; mother-in-law and traveling buddy, Jane Benedict; nieces and nephews, Carolyn (Max) Cunningham, Sandy (Ray) Proud, Nicholas and Andersyn Benedict; great-nieces and nephews, Chad and Katie Cunningham, and Clint and Carly Proud; memory-making buddies, Mike and Diane Hanson and his beloved dog Fwed.
He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Donna Sargent and Louise Campbell.
He leaves behind too many friends and other family to count, but know he loved each of you.
