Catherine Candler Warren died on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the age of 104 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William C. Warren Jr.

The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Howard Candler Sr., Mrs. Warren was the granddaughter of Asa G. Candler Sr.

She is survived by her three children: Catherine W. Dukehart, William C. Warren III, and Howard C. Warren; and seven grandchildren: Lamar Q. Ball III, David A. Ball, William W. Ball, William C. Warren IV, Thomas R. Warren, Glenn D. Warren, and James K. Warren. Mrs. Warren is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Warren was a member of Northside United Methodist Church, Piedmont Driving Club, Piedmont Garden Club, Junior League of Atlanta and Peachtree Golf Club. She supported many charities and civic organizations, including: Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, The Westminster Schools, Good Samaritan Health Center, Emory University, Wesleyan School, Wesley Woods Center, as well as many others.

She was loved dearly by family and friends. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers that have been with Mrs. Warren for so many years.
