Mrs. Sarah Norris Moody, 94, of Taylorsville and a former resident of Vilas, died Friday morning, February 25.
Mrs. Moody was born March 17, 1888 in Watauga county to John and Nancy Warren Norris. She was a housewife and amember of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, two sons, two sisters, one brother, 24 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Sunday afternoon at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, officiated by Reverends Carl Wilson and Devon Dyson. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Directors were in charge of the arrangements.
