PETERS, Essie Flora, 97, of Daleville, died at her home on Thursday, December 17, 1992. She was born on September 23, 1895 in Franklin County a daughter of James O. and Susan Flora. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy H. Peters and an only granddaughter, Cindy Peters Combs. She was a charter member of the Williamson Road Church of the Brethren and in her later years was an active member of Daleville Church of the Brethren. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Prentice and Robert L. Patterson, Daleville; a son and daughter-in-law, Theron and Nellie Peters, Crewe, Va.; also surviving are two grandsons, Robert R. and wife ("Judy"), Fincastle and Randall L. Patterson, Daleville; grandson-in-law, Robert Combs, Evington; three great-grandsons, Robert B. and ("Jenny") Patterson, Alexandria, Alan Patterson, Hampton Sydney College, Bradley Combs, Evington; three sisters, Ada Saul, Salem, Fannie Eller, Bridgewater, Melva Ludwick, Allentown, Pa.; a number of nieces and nephews.
