MILLER, SR., KARL G. age 67, of Fairview, Texas passed away January 21, 2005, in Plano, Texas. He was born on September 17, 1937, in Muncie, Indiana to A.C. and Helen (Gleason) Miller. On September 5, 1959, he married Jane Hyde Metcalf in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Miller served over 50 years in retail management and consulting. He was a Mason and a member of the Plano Kiwanis. He was a previous board member for the Plano Parks Board, and a current member of the Fairview Parks Board. Mr. Miller was also involved with the Junior Achievement Club and the Student In Free Enterprise Club. He was a member of the Reformed Church of Plano. He is survived by his wife, Jane M. Miller; son, Karl G. "Corky" Miller, Jr. of Sugarland, Texas; daughters, Sharon Edwards of Plano and Karen Neppl of Atlantic, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and 2 great grandchildren on the way; mother, Helen Miller and sister, Diana Cridge-Price both of Indianapolis. His father and a granddaughter preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2005, at the Reformed Church of Plano, 5333 Independence Parkway with Pastor Jack Buteyn officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for visitation from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
