Marie Church Robbins, 86, of Lenoir, NC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, February 4, 2011 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mountain, NC. Mrs. Robbins was born on June 18, 1924 in Wilkes County to the late Reverend Bill Church and Dacie Watson Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronda Robbins; one brother McKinley Miller and one sister Della Price. While she was living with her son, James and his wife, Patty in Wilkes County, NC, to the late Reverend Bill Church and Dacie Watson Church Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronda Robbins; one brother McKinley Miller and one sister, Della Price. She was a member of Rock View Baptist Church in Triplett, NC, while she was living with her son, James and his wife, Patty in Kings Mountain, NC, she was also active for seven years in Faith Baptist Church and the Patrick Senior Center in Kings Mountain, NC. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving son, James Robbins and wife, Patty of Kings Mountain, NC; three grandchildren, Candice Linnens and husband, Duane of Boiling Springs, NC, Jessica Burton and husband, Jason of Liberty, NC, and Joshua Robbins of Kings Mountain, NC; three great grandchildren, Mikaila Linnens, Clayton Linnens and Jeremiah Burton; two sisters, Carmel Robbins and Gladys Lewis, both of Lenoir, NC. The family will receive friends, from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will be at the Robbins Family Cemetery in Buffalo Cove, NC, Monday, February 7, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. Officiating will be Reverend Bobby Greene of Lenoir, NC, Reverend Jesse Bryant of Pickens, SC and Bishop Brady Jackson of Kings Mountain, NC.
