Funeral services for John W. Crossman 94, a resident of Bethel Nursing Home, Oshkosh will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Twohig Funeral Home, Fond du Lac.
The Rev. Brian Tokoph will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosendale Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Crossman died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1987, at the nursing home.
He was born in Springvale on Nov. 11, 1892, to John and Lucy Harmer Crossman. He married Etta Bemis on June 10, 1916, in Fond du Lac.
Mr. Crossman was a veteran of World War I and farmed in the Rosendale area most of his life. He was a member of the First Naptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include two sons, Clarence of Portage and Conrad of North Fond du Lac; one daughter, Mrs. Frances Beyer of Oshkosh; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. He wife preceded him in death on April 19, 1972, as did one son, three brothers and two sisters.
